Short trip to Penang - 2

After the feasting, walked through the many streets and lanes in the area. Came across many shop-houses which reminded me of those found in our Everton road or even Geylang area. This one with wall mosaic tiles and iron gate seems
un-restored, still in its original condition.

Some of the shop-houses along the street, like this one however, were already restored, judging from the condition of its decor.

The intricate carving and decorations in gold color of the main door of this row of restored shop-houses looked attractive.

The floor tiles looked familiar just liked those in our restored buildings.
