Trip to Ipoh - 4

These are not ancient hieroglyphics or human etchings either, but the silhouettes of my fellow traveller and myself. We were the only two in our group fit and brave enough to walk to the end. I thought it would made an interesting photos in the semi-darkness of the cavern.

We  approached a sign that informed us we were nearing the end of the journey to the top. The air here was rather thin but bearable. Some parts the air was actually quite breezy, as there were some openings to the outside.
The catwalk ends here and it was time for the long walk back. It was quite a memorable experience as it was my first time in a limestone cavern as big as this. My previous entering a cave was the one at Bukit Timah Hill many years ago before it was closed. That was a small cave compared to this giant.
Back at the visitor area, many people were having a rest and toilet break. Noticed these two cats snoozing quietly on the plastic chairs despite the noisy chatter around. Could not help but to sneak a few shots at them. They looked quite alike with almost similar markings, probably siblings. Ah! I felt like having a snooze too after all the physical exertions :)
That ends the story of the trip to the limestone cave in Ipoh. Our next stop was to "Concubine Street" in old Ipoh...
