From the smaller street where we met the friendly cat, we emerged to a larger road. Walked pass a row of single storey shops with cement walls and metal sheets roof. One unit still has a TV antenna on its roof.
An old styled coffee shop. There are plenty of heritage houses, old colonial buildings for the street photography.
A shop selling assorted souvenirs such as those with prints of local sites.
Came across a stall selling Chendol a popular dessert which I also like. There was a crowd in front of the stall. We gave it a try and it was good indeed. Opposite there was another stall selling the same dessert, however, there were hardly any customers. Can't help but to feel a bit sorry for the owner. Well, maybe during the next trip will patronise that stall.
