A hiking we go - 2

This place is really beautiful especially in the cool of the morning. However, when I was here it was almost noon. These are some photos of my previous hike. Drove thro' here many years ago and was smitten by the scenery. There is a large canal and big field that gives this area a country like feel. Some people were walking their dogs, with an occasional jogger or cyclist, blending well with the tranquility of the surrounding. Here on the bridge, there are some Butterfly pea vine. Whose deep blue/Purple flowers are used as dye for food coloring. Other Vines like the Blue Trumpet vine can be seen along the railings. It does attracts large black wasp, but they generally does not attack unless disturbed.

  1. There's a Hakka temple nearby too, I think. I have been there a few times before the Covid thing. I saw those pretty flowers as well as the climbers whose flowers resemble Morning Glory. Are those Blue Trumpets? Anyway, here's wishing you an early Happy Lunar New Year, and many more posts on your blog :)
