Fun trip to the Southern Islands 6

From where I left off, after a long hiatus, we finally arrived at St John island. It's a bigger island compared to Sister's Island. Moreover, St John is joined to Lazarus Island and the visitors can walk to and from each other via a causeway. Quite a long walk though, we only had time to make it a quarter of the way to Lazarus Island as there was not sufficient time. In the background is the new concrete jetty where previously was a wooden one.
We had our lunch at St John before taking a relaxing walk along the beach fronted with pristine water. Benches and barbecue pits are available is keen on such activites. For nature lovers it's a fun place to be in. Similarly, for amateur photographers like myself, it was a great place.
Mangrove trees growing on the white sandy beach one can expect to see on the trip. Did not spot any dolphins, otters  or migratory birds. perhaps it's because the sun was up and it's pretty humid. Still there are plenty of flora and fauna to make the trip memorable.

The water was quite clear, can even see the seaweeds which look dried up though. All to soon it was time to leave, wished there was more time to explore the island :)
