Nostalgic Chinatown 2

Another one of those mood shots that I like taken in December last year, just before Christmas. The sky was overcast and the rain had just stopped when I arrived. There were visibly less people around due to the previous heavy downpour. A great time for some photography in the almost empty street to my heart's content. The walls on the building with it's worn out paint enhanced the character of it. Being less sterile does have it's benefit, at least for those who like photography. The roadside stalls are more uniformed after a round of retrofitting compared to the haphazard style before :)

  1. Totally agree with you about places being too neat and tidy... and sterile!

  2. A bit of dirt has more character, somehow :)
