Mid - Autumn in Chinatown - 2

In a few more days would be the actual date for the Mid-Autumn harvest festival celebrated on the 15th day of the eighth month on the lunar calendar. The rows of lanterns with imaginative art drawn by school children drew visitors to them. Those who are visually attracted to colors would love this festival, like I do.

At the junction of Upper Cross street and New Bridge road stood this colorful replica of a Chinese Junk boat. Paused to take some photos while crossing over to Eu Tong Sen road. In the background is the Yue Hwa building, formerly the Nam Tin (Southern Sky) Hotel.
