Yesterday at the Botanical Gardens

Visited the Botanical Gardens yesterday and finally was able to capture all three black swans in the same photo. Albeit the third was a distance away in the pond. Some time back the female was nesting among the tall grasses in the background. Though I came here quite often in the past, have not seen all three together before. Could not confirm the female had given birth, but yesterday evening finally spotted both parents and offspring. The swans are noticeably less timid, probably used to the many visitors to the Gardens by now. Even the Red Jungle fowls which have grown in numbers are also less skittish unlike in the past. They can be seen foraging openly for food in the presence of the many visitors. One male was crowing away up on a tree branch. The family of Lesser Whistling ducks were nowhere in sight though, probably migrated elsewhere. :)
