Yesterday at the Botanical Gardens - 2

It's liked autumn, here at the Botanical Gardens. The three Baobab trees looked rather naked after shedding almost all their leaves which are strewn on the ground like a brown carpet. The "Baobab" also known as "Dead Rat" or "Monkey Bread" tree is rather strange looking. It ought to belong in Fangorn forest of Lord of the rings. The scientific name for it is Adansonia digitata of the Malvaceae family. It's origin is from tropical Africa. Though not very tall, they do have stout trunks. A nice quiet spot for admiring them and their photos makes very attractive wallpaper. Elsewhere in the Gardens there is another Baobab, but it's solidary, compared to these which are like a happy family.
