Bukit Batok Nature Park - 1

It was after a heavy downpour where the pond at the nature park was overflowing with rain water. The excess cascaded down the narrow drain, creating a fascinating sight. This can last for hours after the pond was filled to the brim by the large amount from the rain. Certainly a cool evening for regular joggers like us.

  1. Wish there are bigger waterfalls in Singapore, haha. Btw, I was climbing the steps along Marang trail the other day when I noticed something which I didn't see before, near one of the bungalows on the left on the way up. It looked kind of old, a bit circular. I think a fence was being built round it. I couldn't see clearly becausee of the trees. Couldn't take a goos picture of it either as I would risk rolling down the slope. Hmm, wonder if it could be the tomb you mentioned which was near Mt Faber? Doubt so though.

  2. Indeed there are bigger waterfalls, one at Jurong Bird Park, the other at Flower Dome, man-made of course :) I doubt it's the tomb you saw too, internet sources show it as a pillar. Thought of joining a conducted tour to the place as mentioned by some of the bloggers :)
